When procuring vehicles fuel-efficiency should be a top priority.
Not just because of environmental concerns, but also because of common business sense. Cleaner Car Contracts is a simple pledge to purchase fuel-efficient fleets, showing that your fleet procurement is well on track to meet European requirements of 95 gr CO2/km performance levels in 2020. You can either sign up for a Gold or a Silver contract for any year between 2012 and 2020. Targets you sign up to are on your newly acquired vehicles of that year only.
What does signing a Cleaner Car Contract mean for my company?
1. Your company signs up to an ambition on fleet-average fuel-efficiency, that is in line with the EU 2020 objective. The ambition is written down in a Cleaner Car Contract, which you sign with Europe’s leading environmental NGOs.
2. The Cleaner Car Contract you sign is made public online, and you receive the Gold or Silver fleet award.
3. Your company invites clients to support the ambition you signed up for, who may also use the Gold or Silver fleet award.
4. Fleet procurement policy is brought in line with the ambition you sign up for.
How to participate?
In order to join Cleaner Car Contracts, here is what needs to be arranged
1. A CEO to sign a Cleaner Car Contract;
2. A filled-in form with the history and prognosis of your fleets’ fuel-efficiency performance (download below)
3. A digital company logo, your web address and a short profile text, which we can use to include your company on the website
4. Optionally: find clients who want to support your Cleaner Car Contract with a support letter.
